SOLUTIONS

Define the signal. Integrate the system. Validate the result.

System Architecture

We translate application needs into measurable requirements and a coherent photonic, electronic and mechanical architecture.

  • Requirements definition and feasibility analysis
  • Interface and subsystem architecture

Photonic & Electronic Co-Design

We design optical paths, PICs, readout electronics and control interfaces together, reducing integration risk from the start.

  • PIC and optical subsystem design
  • Readout electronics, control and component selection

Integration & Prototyping

We assemble optical, electronic, firmware and opto-mechanical elements into functional demonstrators and custom prototypes.

  • Fiber, source, detector and PCB integration
  • Packaging, enclosure and rapid prototyping

Testing & Validation

We characterize performance, noise, drift and repeatability under relevant operating conditions.

  • Experimental characterization and test procedures
  • Reliability assessment and TRL advancement
CASE STUDY

CASE STUDY: Measuring rotation with light

Built on research experience developed within the Micro Nano Sensor Group at the Polytechnic University of Bari, OptoEncase connects photonic design with system-level engineering. Among the results behind this approach is a one-axis fiber-optic gyroscope assembled entirely from commercial off-the-shelf components.
